The Family

Honeysuckle Hills

was created by a wedding photographer for the best wedding experience possible.  After Regina’s Daddy passed in 2005, she remodeled the 1950 barn in his memory to celebrate his hard working life and her love for the art of photography.  Her Daddy allowed her to photograph wildflowers as a young child instead of helping bale hay, which blossomed into twenty years of wedding photography experience and national awards, ten of those years at Honeysuckle Hills as of 2016.  While Regina is available to photograph your wedding, she celebrates artistic diversity by welcoming her brides to choose the photographer of their choice.

Regina strives to create the perfect wedding atmosphere for your wedding with her flower gardens, photography props, and high-energy family helpers to keep everyone smiling.

You will also meet Uncle Bill, who when he isn’t on the mountain digging herbs is typically found running errands and doing maintenance.

Cousin Tommy keeps our grounds mowed and manicured every week.
Regina’s sister is extremely helpful, and well known as “the good sister.” Most everyone wants to take her home with them.

And let’s not forget Aunt Sharon… who hates to have her picture made, but you’ll see her smiling face at your wedding with reception. She is always happy to cut your wedding cake for you, and she’s a decorating genius!

Regina is currently married to the mountain man of her dreams, but like Dolly Parton, retains her maiden name. She and her husband, David, reside in the woods of the Smoky Mountains accompanied by two Labrador retrievers and their rescue squirrel, “Sassy.” Sassy was David’s wedding present to Regina a month before they said, “I Do.”
