There’s a brand new way to elope at Honeysuckle Hills, perfect for couples who want a mountain view. We know that one of the main reasons couples come to the Smoky Mountains is to experience the scenery and romance that God painted over our land. For over twelve years we’ve shared our little valley with its creek, barn and stunning horses. Now we’ve decided to share our hilltop with views from left to right of the mountain ridges we call home.

In the style of adventure and the unique ways we create wedding experiences for our couples, our “Ridge Runners” location is for hearts with a free spirit. It’s for couples who trade pavement for dirt roads. It’s free from the commercialism that has overtaken society… It’s an alternative way to get married over the mass production wedding chapel.

When I was twelve, my Daddy had black angus cattle. One of my relaxing past times was to sit on top of the hill and watch the daily farm activities. Quite often a baby calf would wander up and sniff me over, even licking my bare feet at times. I thought to myself, “If I could bottle this happiness inside my heart right now, I’d share it with everyone!”

You can be this happy, too, when you get married at Honeysuckle Hills. It’s a family experience here, and we only do one wedding each day. Our newest mountain view wedding site is perfect for couples only. Request this site as your ceremony location, or as one of the amazing places we’ll take your wedding photographs. Our wedding venue has back-up plans in case it rains, but we’ll dance in the rain with you if your heart is set on getting married on the hill no matter what. Let’s do this!

There is no road to this location, so we’ll drive you up in our truck. You can also drive yourself up in your own truck, jeep, or ATV. Don’t have one, or don’t want to haul it? No problem! Smoky Mountain Jeep Rentals is your solution.

In addition to the beautiful views at our “Ridge Runners” wedding site, you’ll find a hundred-year-old oak tree (soon to have a swing!) natural wildflowers in the summer and fall, and natural forest for woodland chic wedding photographs.

What are you waiting for? Contact Regina today to start planning the wedding that fits your adventurous spirit!
