WEDDINGS WITH RECEPTIONS

Weddings with Receptions

Honeysuckle Hills offers three unique reception packages in the Smoky Mountains. Since you’re traveling to Tennessee to get married, all-inclusive makes having a wedding here so much easier! Two of our packages are all-inclusive, and one allows you to plan and make all the vendor choices on your own. One of our family coordinators is included in all three packages to ensure your timeline runs smoothly and the vendors know where to set up. As your hostess, I often assist the coordinator as needed. We work together to bring all your ideas together for an unforgettable experience! Because my duties of hostess and venue manager are more intense with two of these packages, I only offer my photography with the mini reception. However, I have a list of favorite local photographers I love to recommend if you don’t already have one.

Our venue is wedding ready, with pleasing vintage chic décor. You could literally walk through the door and get married without bringing a thing. If you choose to bring personal items such as pictures, guest books, favors or signs, we’ll set those items out for you. We can even exchange our table centerpieces for those you bring. Some of our couples bring a little, while others transform our space into their own themed vision. As long as we don’t have to use ladders, nails or staples, there’s no charge to set out the items you bring with our all-inclusive packages. (You’ll do all your own decorating with our venue only option.)

Our venue is a photographer’s paradise! As such, I recommend a first look and pictures BEFORE your guests arrive with our two larger reception packages. The average time photographers spend with just the two of you is 45 minutes in addition to 30 minutes for family groups. A successful itinerary allows for daylight hours & temperatures, catering & bar serving times, and the human element for social interactions. Ask me for a sample itinerary to help bring your vision to life.

Weddings with receptions may be booked during the months of April through mid-November.

The Mini Reception

The mini reception at Honeysuckle Hills is a great way to include all the traditional aspects of a wedding and save money. Even though a DJ is not included in this package, we’ll still help with the ceremony and first dance music. It has a healthy budget for menu items from Buddy’s Custom Catering, and they offer more than just barbecue. Their grilled chicken is my favorite! They’ll set up a nice buffet style meal, and Bakery and Desserts by Gracie will provide your wedding cake. Our staff will even cut and serve the cake for you!

Your timeline is long enough to include a heart-felt ceremony, 45 minutes for photos of family groups and the two of you alone, the buffet reception, toasts, and first dances. Naturally, fewer guests mean a more relaxing pace. This package is equally popular with much fewer than 30 guests because it allows you to soak in the beauty of our venue longer & connect with your family more genuinely.

Foothills Wedding Celebration

This all-inclusive wedding reception package is our most popular at Honeysuckle Hills for a cozy family gathering of 50 guests. We’re with you every step of the way, working with the best wedding vendors in the Southeast who know our venue inside and out.

This wedding package feels more like a family reunion because so many of our typical guests travel from all over the United States and beyond. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is a central meeting place with an abundance of entertainment and lodging. Our venue feels like a botanical garden with areas to explore or kick back and relax. Ask me for our venue resource app that lists cabins and hotels close by. Our couples love historic Starkeytown with three secluded rentals within five minutes of us!

Would you like to add hair and makeup for yourself and the wedding party? The well-known and loved Summer Lynn Beauty Team can be added for $200 per person, and they’ll meet you right here at the venue!

Venue Only Rental

While this is our least booked package at Honeysuckle Hills, it tends to work beautifully for couples who want more control over vendors. I’ve found that couples who book this wedding package typically have a team of close family members and friends who want to be more “hands on” with the entire process.

A family staff member will be on property to set out chairs, coordinate the wedding and manage vendors. However, our services do not include setting out wedding décor such as favors & guest books or duties such as cutting and serving the cake.

You must use vendors with a business license and insurance who can provide us with a copy listing Honeysuckle Hills, LLC as additionally insured. No food drop-offs are permitted. You must use a caterer who will set up, break down, and maintain food at proper serving temperature. We have a staging area for caterers, but no kitchen.

Regina’s Favorite Local Photographers

We take great pride in offering our own photography for elopements and the mini-reception. However, larger weddings require our full attention on the venue, your guests, the vendors, and most importantly… YOU. Consider one of my favorite local photographers to capture your memories for a larger wedding with reception.

All those listed have photographed at our venue often and we stand by their professional skills, knowledge of light, and customer service. They also have the liability insurance required for photos with our horses running & approaching close enough to touch.
