The Creekside Pavilion

An Open-Air, Covered Ceremony Site for up to 50 guests

Our open-air pavilion is located on the main grounds just behind the barn.  It’s the first thing you’ll notice when walking toward our landscaped five acres of seasonal gardens, photography backdrops, and outdoor ceremony sites.  A stamped stone walkway leads you from the exit of the barn to the entrance of the pavilion while a waterwheel turns with gentle rhythm right next to it, soothing your soul.

The Creekside Pavilion is the next best thing to an outdoor wedding if it’s raining.  It’s also an excellent choice for summer weddings with an earlier ceremony time because it provides shade beneath the ceiling fans.

A traditional arbor stands in the pavilion with greenery and white flowers by Ling’s Moment. Warm string lights are in the ceiling of the pavilion with a circular chandelier beneath the entrance. This is the main hang-out area for your guests when they arrive because of its shelter, seating, and the red cooler with iced down bottled water.  In the fall, a cozy fire table provides warmth to cooler nighttime temperatures.

It’s a popular area for first dances, dancing the night away, or for your guests to catch up on family gossip while they’re waiting for you to get ready.  Our provided DJ for the Appalachian Celebration package has his own special nook at the back of the pavilion.

Many photographers use this area for photographs when it rains because of its pleasing structural features and direction of light.

I’m Regina, and I look forward to helping you plan your special day!  Couples just like you have helped me carry on a legacy of love for the past 20 years.  At one time my venue was a working farm where my Daddy raised cattle and tobacco.  As much as I enjoyed growing up here, I sure do enjoy weddings more than farming!

My venue’s down-to-earth love for the simple things in life attracts outdoor lovers, travelers, adventurers, hunters, fishers, hikers, all skin colors, faiths, LGBTQ, and free spirited souls with an abundance of respect for diversity.
