WEDDING CHAPEL

Honeysuckle Hills Wedding Chapel

An Indoor Ceremony Site for 30 guests
Maximum chair capacity 50
Max bridal party 3 on each side due to narrow space

Located on the main grounds upstairs in our barn, our wedding chapel offers a cozy, heated and cooled indoor ceremony space for winter or rainy-day weddings at Honeysuckle Hills.  Wedding chapels started the destination wedding trend in Gatlinburg over fifty years ago but remain a popular, nostalgic choice to this day. Abi and I love to officiate weddings under the romantic string lights!    “Legendary” Phil King’s voice resounds like a singer under the cathedral ceiling when he officiates. Where tobacco once hung to cure, you’ll find pine walls and floors that resemble the interior of most cabins in our area. The chapel creates a sentimental feeling with the smell of wood and delightful sight of string lights.  Some of our couples choose this ceremony location even in seasonal months because it feels more like a church wedding.  Pictures can be created after the wedding in the many beautiful places just outside the barn or at one of our mountain view sites, depending on the wedding package you choose. Our mountain view sites are only a short, one-minute drive from the main grounds.

If you choose one of our outdoor ceremony spots, you’ll walk from the chapel’s exit down the steps under our vintage chandelier to whoever is waiting to escort you down the aisle below. This is one of our favorite spots to do a first look, too! Our second favorite spot for the first look is walking out of the bridal suite into the chapel. Photographers have delightful window light from the balcony doors to capture all the emotional moments there.
Is winter your favorite season?  Our chapel is the perfect choice for your wedding in the Smoky Mountains!  No matter if it’s snowing, raining, or cold outside, our chapel brings romance to the highest peak.
