The Willow Tree

An outdoor ceremony site for up to 50 guests

The willow tree ceremony site is located on our main grounds in the landscaped, five acre area behind the barn.  It’s been a joy to watch it grow since I planted it 17 years ago.  It towers toward the sky next to a creek with a bridge to its left.  The bridge has black iron willow tree inserts to complement this charming setting.  Warm string lights hang in the lower branches along with flickering lanterns.  The walk time from the chandelier exit in the barn to the willow tree is only a minute and a half.

If it’s just the two of you, say your vows right beneath the willow’s branches. If you have guests, we’ll set up the chairs to create an aisle. The maximum guest count for this ceremony site is 50.  Your wedding party will stand at the edge of the willow branches with the two of you at the center in front of your officiant to ensure your photographer has a clear view of everyone.  If it’s just the two of you, however, a cozy ceremony beneath the romantic, swaying branches is a magical experience!

The willow sprouts leaves in mid to late March, reaching a full, lush appearance by the end of April. Pink wind flowers bloom around the willow in late August through September. The leaves change to rusty gold in late October and typically drop throughout November. BOHO themes are most popular during this time. The willow has no leaves from mid to late November until it awakens again in mid-March. However, many couples still choose this area because of the string lights and lanterns despite the cold temperatures.

Honeysuckle Tradition

I’m Regina, and I look forward to helping you plan your special day!  Couples just like you have helped me carry on a legacy of love for the past 20 years.  At one time my venue was a working farm where my Daddy raised cattle and tobacco.  As much as I enjoyed growing up here, I sure do enjoy weddings more than farming!

My venue’s down-to-earth love for the simple things in life attracts outdoor lovers, travelers, adventurers, hunters, fishers, hikers, all skin colors, faiths, LGBTQ, and free spirited souls with an abundance of respect for diversity.

I can’t wait to celebrate your unique love story!
