CEREMONY LOCATIONS
Honeysuckle Hills Ceremony Locations
The most unique aspect of the Honeysuckle Hills wedding venue is its variety of ceremony spots that double as photography sites. Most are located within the five acres of landscaping on the main grounds near the barn, all within walking distance of each other. However, they are spread out just enough so they’re not one on top of the other. We may book more than one ceremony each day, but never at the same time. Some packages offer exclusive use of the venue for the day. Parking is adjacent to the barn where the ceremony and photography sites are located on the main grounds, and the family-friendly mountain view sites have their own parking area.
Our family friendly mountain view ceremony sites are located on the back side of our 30-acre farm. They’re a short, one-minute drive from the main grounds on public roads with a parking lot for ten to twelve vehicles.
Our mountain view adventure site is also located on the back side of our 30-acre farm but is only accessed by Jeep or 4×4 off road vehicle, limiting it to couples only weddings or photography sessions. The acres of land in between those used for weddings compromise horse pasture and my mother’s home.

The Willow Tree
An outdoor ceremony site for up to 50 guests
The willow tree ceremony site is located on our main grounds in the landscaped, five-acre area behind the barn. It’s been a joy to watch it grow since I planted it 16 years ago. It towers toward the sky next to a creek with a bridge to its left. The bridge has black iron willow tree inserts to complement this charming setting. Warm string lights hang in the lower branches along with flickering lanterns. The walk time from the chandelier exit in the barn to the willow tree is only a minute and a half.
Wedding Chapel
An Indoor Ceremony Site for 30 guests
Located on the main grounds upstairs in our barn, our wedding chapel offers a cozy, heated and cooled indoor ceremony space for winter or rainy-day weddings at Honeysuckle Hills. Wedding chapels started the destination wedding trend in Gatlinburg over fifty years ago but remain a popular, nostalgic choice to this day. Abi and I love to officiate weddings under the romantic string lights! “Legendary” Phil King’s voice resounds like a singer under the cathedral ceiling when he officiates. Where tobacco once hung to cure, you’ll find pine walls and floors that resemble the interior of most cabins in our area. The chapel creates a sentimental feeling with the smell of wood and delightful sight of string lights.
Creekside Pavilion
An open-air, covered, outdoor ceremony site for 50 guests
Our covered pavilion is located on the main grounds just behind the barn. It’s the first thing you’ll notice when walking toward our landscaped five-acres of seasonal gardens, photography backdrops, and outdoor ceremony sites. A stamped-stone walkway leads you from the exit beneath our chandelier to the entrance of the pavilion. A waterwheel turns with water supplied by our creek right next to it, soothing your spirit. (It’s a popular photo spot, too!)
Granite Stone Wedding Arch
An outdoor ceremony site for up to 20 guests
Our elegant granite stone archway is located on the main grounds within a minute’s walk from the barn’s exit. Mostly obscured by a crepe myrtle tree, it is a garden feature that delightfully surprises our guests as they explore the five-acre space surrounding the barn. In late April, the purple garden phlox begins the seasonal blooms. By late June zinnia, cosmos, cone flowers and cleome attract butterflies and songbirds to this fairy-tale setting. This is our least shaded photography and ceremony site, so choose it as late in the day as possible in the summer months. By mid-September the shade is more abundant by 2pm.
Creekside Ridge Wooden Arbor
Our Creekside Ridge ceremony site is located on the main grounds only a minute and a half’s trek from the barn’s exit. It’s basically in the middle of our landscaped five-acres. Imagine gliding across a beautiful bridge while the sounds of the creek and a little pond waterfall soothe you. Your guests will never forget your walk down the aisle! The unique architecture of this arbor lends itself to western style and fairy-tale themed weddings alike.
Permanent log benches seat between 50 and 75 wedding guests here, making it the perfect place for a wedding with family and friends in the Smokies. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The long bridge leading to this site is a favorite location for photographers to capture a large family group photo.
Family-Friendly Mountain View
An outdoor wedding site for 30 guests
Our family friendly mountain view ceremony sites are located a short, one minute’s drive from the main grounds. They’re on the back side of our 30 acres, with horse pasture and my mother’s home in between the mountain views and main grounds. This makes our venue unique with a combination of views and delightful landscaped areas in these separate locations to enjoy. You and your guests will have fun “going on an adventure” to your mountain ceremony site after everyone gets dressed on the main grounds. (Dressing room time varies by package.) You’ll follow your included coordinator in a lead car when it’s time for the ceremony.
Mountain View Adventure Site
Exclusively for couples only
Our mountain view adventure site gets its name from the fun, off-road Jeep ride required to access it. Like the family friendly mountain view sites, it’s on the back side of our 30-acre farm, with horse pasture and my mother’s home between the view and main grounds. However, it’s strictly limited to couples only. Ride up with me in my Jeep or follow me in your own 4×4 off-road vehicle for a wedding experience unlike any other in the Smokies. We’ll either drive up through the fields from the main grounds or up the dirt trail next to the family-friendly ceremony site’s parking area.
