As the owner and resident photographer here, I wanted to pull back the curtain a little bit and share why we made this change, and why this tiny package holds such a massive piece of my heart.

What is the “Simply I Do” Package?

For those who don’t know, “Simply I Do” is our most budget-friendly option. It is a sweet, half-hour, ceremony-to-finish package designed for couples who want something beautiful without all the fuss.

Here is how it works:

• Show up dressed and ready to go on wedding day.
• An officiant is included to handle your ceremony.
• Half an hour from ceremony to exit.
• I am your photographer. I’ll capture your special moments during that half hour and give you all the images with a copyright release.
• A little something extra: I also love to take quick two- and three-second video clips while we’re working together to create a sweet little highlight reel for you.

Honestly, it is probably one of the best wedding packages in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. It is almost like you’re getting our beautiful venue for free! It’s perfect for couples who want gorgeous pictures, but don’t need millions of them all over our extensive grounds. You just want to marry your person in a stunning setting.

Why the Package Moved to Last-Minute Deals

We had to shift this package away from our main booking menu for two very important reasons, mostly revolving around calendar flexibility and some life changes.

Peak Wedding Season & Calendar Demands

During our busiest months—like April, May, and especially October—our calendar fills up incredibly fast. At Honeysuckle Hills, we host a wide variety of weddings. Some couples want longer photography sessions, on-site hair and makeup, or full traditional ceremonies with receptions.

It never failed: if I allowed the “Simply I Do” package to be booked too far in advance, even on a random Wednesday, it would block out a date that someone else wanted for a full-scale wedding. Often, a couple would book it a year out just because it happened to be an important date to them, like their great-grandmother’s anniversary or the date of their first kiss. By keeping it strictly as a last-minute deal, we can easily accommodate couples looking to elope on short notice without completely locking up our main calendar years in advance. Simply I Do can be booked three months of less from your wedding date.

Family is My Top Priority

The second reason for this change is deeply personal. My sweet mother turned 80 this year, and she is my absolute top priority. She had a bit of a health scare earlier this year. Thank goodness it wasn’t too serious, and she is firmly on the mend now—she is one of those tough mountain women you just cannot keep down! But it really opened my eyes to the fact that I’m not getting any younger myself.

Because the “Simply I Do” package is hosted by me personally, I want to promise you that I will be the one there with you. Now, rest assured, if an emergency ever did happen, I have an absolutely phenomenal team here to back me up—including Abby with Willow May Weddings and my daughter-in-law with Sierra Bonneville Photography. But because this package is so budget-friendly, it’s because it comes directly from my heart. Keeping it last-minute allows me the day-to-day flexibility I need to be there for my family while still doing what I love with you.

To be completely honest, “Simply I Do” probably always will be my favorite wedding package because of the people it attracts.
