Stone Archway Ceremony Location
The stone archway ceremony site at Honeysuckle Hills is hidden behind a crepe myrtle tree intertwined with honeysuckle. Step onto the curving brick path leading to a granite stone arch with greenery and white silk wisteria at the crest. It’s most popular during late May through September when wildflowers grow next to the arch, attracting butterflies and song birds. Zinnia, cosmos, cone flowers and cleome are prolific here during the summer. This is our least shaded area at the venue, so ask me for the best time to schedule your ceremony here.
The stone archway always has greenery and white flowers, making it a wedding ready ceremony site with little to fuss over. If you book one of our luxury elopements, we’ll add any silk flowers that you bring to the existing decor on this timeless arbor. Sometimes we even have some silk flowers on hand in various colors, so be sure to ask before buying your own.
The stone arch’s path leads to our hobbit bridge made out of locust tree limbs. Just across the bridge you’ll find a photography prop resembling a hobbit house! Many trees have fallen next to it, lending itself to a fairy tale themed wedding.
This ceremony site has a maximum guest count of 20 with its permanent log benches. The arch was originally installed as an accent to the wildflower garden for photography. It didn’t take long until couples were begging for an opportunity to get married there.
This site is best for smaller wedding parties because of the unique landscaping that creates a cozy garden vibe. The place that bridesmaids typically stand has enough room for only one or two people.
If it Rains
The rain plan for this site with our luxury elopements is the opportunity to change the ceremony time to suit better weather conditions or change to the Creekside Pavilion or chapel for the ceremony.
The rain plan for the The Mini Wedding or Simply I Do is the use of umbrellas or changing the ceremony site to the Creekside Pavilion or chapel.
