Six Fun, Adventurous Ways to Get Married in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
December 17, 2023Choosing Your January 2025 Wedding
February 21, 2024When your mouth starts watering before the reception even starts, you know it’s going to be a tasty meal! That’s exactly what it’s like at Honeysuckle Hills when 2 Coaches Catering is here for one of our all-inclusive weddings with reception. Everyone’s favorite menu items are from their grill. Chef Scott fires it up in front of the venue as wedding activities proceed in the main space around back. The smoke drifts lightly through the air with an aroma of your choice of meats, letting everyone know a feast in in store! His servings are generous at the buffet in our reception area, so if anyone leaves hungry, it’s their own fault. Don’t worry if all the food isn’t eaten. We’ll pack up the leftovers so you can enjoy them during the rest of your stay here in the Smoky Mountains.
Grilled recipes aren’t the only items on 2 Coaches menu, however. Check out all the delicious items below that you’ll be able to choose from with our Countryside or Foothills Family Celebration packages! For example, their taco bar has been a hit here more than once. The first thing Chef Scott will ask you when you begin planning your reception is, “What do you like to eat?”
It all started fourteen years ago at a birthday party at their home church as Chef Scott and his business partner, Chef Joey, provided the meal as a gift. During this festive gathering, a woman asked them to cater her daughter’s upcoming event, too, with good old fashioned southern barbecue. They headed to Georgia to purchase their first smoker the very next weekend and have been catering ever since. I met them in 2021, when a caterer I used for over a decade decided to retire. My standards are high because my couples mean the world to me, and I was having a hard time finding a vendor to match the personal touch our previous caterer provided. You can imagine my relief when one of our own beloved wedding couples began singing praises about 2 Coaches after they catered the rehearsal dinner at their cabin. One of my assistants hired them to cater for her father’s wedding the following month, and after that I knew they’d be perfect for Honeysuckle Hills.
My personal favorites on their menu are the barbecue, pork loin, chicken & steaks. The cowboy potatoes are simply scrumptious! Don’t forget to ask for some banana pudding even if you keep your wedding cake. To me, this ties the bow on a down-home, all—American hearty meal.
